How did Micheal Jackson turn white? - EliGraceCheahEnTing .

Ha :}
My name is ; Gracee Cheah Ting Ting :}

Michael Jackson's skin was white because he had a rare skin condition called Vitiligo. Vitiligo is an inherited genetic disorder. It is a condition in which you lose melanocytes (cells that give color to the skin). This results in smooth, white-milky patches in the midst of normally pigmented skin. In the case of African-Americans, this discoloration is very prominent, although any age, sex and race can suffer from it.
The illness made Jackson very sensitive to sunlight. The treatments he used for the condition reportedly further lightened his skin tone. Then, with the application of pancake makeup to even out blotches, he appeared pale.
Michael Jackson now has passed the point of patches and now his skin has turned colorless; all pigmentation is lost. The effects cannot be reversed. Micheal's grandfather had this condition, and it is unfortunate that it was passed down to Michael. Sadly, this condition is not rare..
